Aurélia Rios Projects and intersectionality director

Psychologist with community social work, holds a master's degree in Health Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). Aurélia was a professor for Human Sciences in the State System for High School Education at UNIFESP and created the “Repaz Mulher: the rediscovery of a new history, focused on the psychosocial and community support for women in the Northwest Region of Santos, where the largest stilt slum in Latin America is located. Currently, she is the secretary of the Executive Committee for the Municipal Health Council in Santos - she is the first black woman to occupy this position, in one of the first councils created in Brazil by SUS. In Santos, she also works as a coordinator of the Thematic Commission on Health and executive secretary of the Municipal Council for Participation and Development of the Black Community and the Promotion of Racial Equality.

Daniela Skromov Institutional Relations Director

Public Defender in the State of São Paulo since 2007. She has actively worked with cases of institutional violence, has defended provisional prisoners, victims of police violence and participated in the deactivation of the mental health complex in Sorocaba-SP. She coordinated the Citizenship and Human Rights Centers and the Rights of the Elderly and People with Disabilities at the DPE-SP. She received an honorable mention in the Santo Dias Human Rights Award from the State House of Representatives in São Paulo (2012).

Jaqueline Marques Administration and Finance Director

Psychologist, currently completing her post-graduation program in psychodrama by the Brazilian Psychodrama Association (ABPS). She was the deputy director of the Center for Assistance and Health of Public Employees in the Federal District, as well as the manager and administrative consultant for private clinics in Brasília.

Lucio Costa Executive Director

Psychologist, psychoanalyst holds a Master´s in Education, Community and Social Movements by the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). He was a consultant for the National Coordination on Prison Health, the Ministry of Health, coordinator of the General Coordination for Human Rights and Mental Health, the Federal Department of Human Rights, as well as the coordinator of the National Coordination for Drugs and Human Rights, and an advisor for the National Council on Drug Policy, at the Ministry of Justice. He is currently an expert at the National Mechanism for the Prevention of Torture (MNPCT), a professor at the Multiprofessional Family Health Residency with an Emphasis on the Rural Population, at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz-Brasília), and a clinical-institutional supervisor at the Center for Psychopedagogy and Medical Guidance (Compp-DF).

Nicola Worcman Scientific Affairs Director

Psychiatrist with a medical residency in psychiatry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a master's degree in Psychoanalysis from the Paris Diderot University. As a health professional, she worked with several programs focused on the harmful use of psychoactive substances in areas with extreme social vulnerability in Rio de Janeiro. She completed her fellowship through the Fulbright program in Public Drug Policies and is currently completing her PHD degree and research in the same fiel, at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at UNICAMP.

Manuela Rached Pereira Journalist and communication advisor

Journalist with previous experience in media vehicles and civil organizations. She collaborated as a reporter for the UOL and Ponte Jornalismo portals. In the third sector, she was a Communication consultant for Conectas Human Rights, as well as a producer for journalistic and audiovisual content at the Fora channel.
